What Is RDAP (Registration Data Access Protocol)?
RDAP is the structured, JSON-based successor to WHOIS for looking up who registered a domain, IP block, or AS number.
WHOIS returns free-text that varies by registry and is hard to parse. RDAP (Registration Data Access Protocol) replaces it with a standardized, queryable JSON format for the same registration data — registrant entities, contacts, and the relationships between them.
WhisperGraph ingests RDAP registration entities as `RDAP_ENTITY` nodes, complementing classic WHOIS fields so you can pivot on the organizations and contacts behind infrastructure.
