Whisper was founded by Kaveh Ranjbar, former CIO of RIPE NCC and the architect of K-root, and Soroush Rafiee Rad. The advisory board is named on this page, not described.
The internet is one system. Its data is not.
Routing, DNS, hosting and ownership data sit in separate databases, so a security team that needs to connect a domain to the network behind it does the joining by hand. We are building the intelligence layer that connects them: one graph, served by an engine built for it.
We think understanding the infrastructure is how you defend it, and the people who ran parts of that infrastructure are the ones to map it.
