AMSTERDAM, July 15, 2025 – Whisper, a Dutch cybersecurity startup, has officially emerged from stealth to introduce its threat-intelligence platform. With a mission to move cybersecurity from reactive cleanup toward proactive investigation, Whisper offers a single queryable view of the internet's infrastructure, helping organizations see and stop sophisticated threats earlier.

In an era where cybercrime has surged by over 300% since 2015 and is projected to cause $10.5 trillion in annual damages by 2025, a new approach is needed. Whisper addresses this with a platform built on a real-time map of the internet's infrastructure — billions of data points across DNS, BGP, WHOIS, and threat-intelligence feeds, all organized as a queryable knowledge graph.

"Traditional cybersecurity tools are built to respond to attacks that have already happened. We're changing that equation," explained Kaveh Ranjbar, Co-Founder & CEO of Whisper. "Whisper gives defenders a real-time view of the internet's infrastructure, exposing attacker networks and the hidden relationships between them. It's like a live map of the terrain — you can see how threats are wired together and act on them faster."

Whisper's platform delivers real-time threat scores and rich metadata on any indicator, from a suspicious domain to a hidden network cluster. An entropy-based scoring system is designed to minimize false positives, letting security teams focus on genuine threats and save valuable time.

Having already secured pilot projects with key cybersecurity providers since its founding in January 2025, Whisper is poised to make a significant impact on the industry. The company's launch is supported by a €1.6 million pre-seed investment, which fuels its expansion and the continued development of its technology.
