Whisper welcomes Jeff Osborn

Some people build products. Others build companies. A few, like Jeff Osborn, do both, and then some.

From his early days at UUNET, one of the first commercial ISPs, to leading MakerBot during the rise of consumer 3D printing, Jeff has consistently been at the forefront of major technology shifts. He has a rare ability to recognize where infrastructure and innovation are heading, and to build the teams and companies capable of getting there first.

Today, as President of Internet Systems Consortium, Jeff oversees open-source software that powers critical parts of the global internet. The technologies ISC maintains are deeply embedded in the infrastructure the internet depends on every day.

We’re excited to announce that Jeff is joining Whisper’s Advisory Board.

As Whisper enters its next stage of growth, Jeff brings decades of experience building and scaling high-impact technology companies through periods of rapid industry change. His perspective on internet infrastructure, open-source ecosystems, operational scale, and company building will be invaluable as we continue expanding Whisper Graph and the broader infrastructure intelligence platform around it.

More importantly, Jeff understands how transformational technologies evolve, not just technically, but organizationally. Knowing when to scale, where to focus, and how to navigate inflection points is the kind of experience that cannot be learned from a playbook.
