Whisper Welcomes Geoff Huston

Technology doesn’t exist in a vacuum. Truly effective systems are built by people who understand not only the technology itself, but also the economic, operational, and human systems surrounding it.
There are pioneers, and then there are the people who build the infrastructure pioneers stand on.
Geoff Huston firmly belongs in the latter category.
From helping bring the internet to Australia to shaping its global evolution as Chief Scientist at APNIC, Geoff has spent decades working at the core layers of the internet itself. His work extends far beyond theory, into the routing systems, protocols, operational practices, and infrastructure foundations that make the modern internet function at global scale.
Today, we’re proud to announce that Geoff Huston has joined Whisper’s Advisory Board.
This is a major milestone for us.
At Whisper, we’re building infrastructure intelligence for a world where traditional security visibility is no longer enough. Modern threats increasingly emerge through relationships between domains, IPs, networks, routing paths, DNS configurations, cloud dependencies, and internet-scale infrastructure patterns.
Understanding those threats requires more than isolated indicators. It requires seeing the internet as a connected system.
That vision aligns deeply with Geoff’s lifelong work.
His expertise in internet architecture, BGP routing, operational resilience, and global network infrastructure will be invaluable as we continue building Whisper Graph, expanding how organizations investigate, anticipate, and understand infrastructure-level risk.
As AI agents, security platforms, and analysts increasingly depend on real-time infrastructure context, we believe graph-based visibility into the internet’s underlying relationships will become foundational to modern cyber defense.
We’re honored to have Geoff join us at this stage of Whisper’s journey and excited for what we’ll build together.
Welcome aboard, Geoff.
